Wednesday Ben slept in until 9 am. I think that he was just trying to get caught up on the sleep he had been missing this past week. It is amazing what two shots in the leg will do for a kid. The fever is now gone, hurray, hurray, hurray! He didn't want to lay around and sleep all day long. He is full of smiles and giggles now and bugging Daddy to play MarioKart on the Wii. He hasn't wanted to do this for a long time so of course Daddy will go along with it.
Mommy gets to go back to work on Thursday and Ben will spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa Starling. It's wonderful to have them close by still and willing to keep him when he isn't completely up to par.

Yay... he's feeling better. Kekoa got one of these shots and it made him really sore... he wouldn't walk on it for a day or so. Its such an awful feeling when they are so sick they won't even hardly move. Same thing happened with him... he was up and moving around the very next day.
So glad Ben is feeling better!!! Never pleasant to have sick little ones! Always makes me worry a bit and hope I'm doing the best thing for them!
